Football Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Bounty for Missing Dog in Mexican Territory to £15k
Welsh athlete Aaron Ramsey has boosted the incentive for leads concerning the missing dog named Halo to $$20k.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
The beagle, who vanished on October 9th, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey shared a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any sort of news regarding our pet Halo kindly contact us. Significant incentive for finding her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and will return with us shortly," Ramsey shared on social media.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey first revealed that Halo had gone missing a fortnight back and has since uploaded multiple photos of the cherished dog on Instagram.
A $ten thousand dollar bounty was initially provided, but with no news on Halo's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the sum.
"We just want our pet returned," he stated in an additional appeal on social media after the elderly pet went missing.
The latest picture post is a monochrome photo of Halo snoozing, her head resting in the curve of the athlete's elbow, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Context
Ramsey has additionally shared a statement from his spouse Colleen on social media saying they have several "pressing concerns" surrounding the event and fear the family "could possibly not obtain clarity".
"To this day we haven't found Halo. I fear we ever will," the spouse's message read.
The Wales captain signed with Mexico's top-flight club Club Universidad Nacional recently and had his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born athlete is the pioneering well-known British Isles player to compete in the Mexico's top division.
